What a lovely place to live (minus the taxes & costs)! Keeping busy raising my daughter and writing on the side to pay bills. No that isn’t getting my Thai Yoga Massage business going but bills need to be paid and for now my daughter needs my time. Soon enough I will be able to jump back in with both feet but until then I just have to try to not lose sight of my goals and keep taking every chance I get to grow and improve.
While it has been my goal to get my Thai Massage business going…it seems it will have to take a bit longer. Time and space issue have meant that it will be longer yet before I am able to get things off the ground. I try to remember that nothing worth doing ever comes without work, patience and sacrifice.
So for now, I focus on family, my health and the coming holidays. I wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday!
Lots happening in my world. Finally I am doing Thai Massage again, still don’t have a real venue, but I am working on.
Aside from work there is plenty happening. I recently learned of the death of a highschool classmate. It has me thinking al ot about the past and lost connections.
On a high note, I have also recently learned that my Dad is getting remarried this summer and my toddler is going to be the flowergirl.
Funny how important thing sometimes get put on the back burner…especially when you have a baby. But now is the time for putting energy back into those things that are important. Things like my Thai Yoga Massage business.
I have run into a new road block…locating a space to practice my business in. There are commercial spaces available here but most will either require major work done on them to suit my needs or are costly. There is a perfect space but it is in available in a building that is for sale. While I definitely would not choose to lease with the existing owner who knows what the new owner will be like. So for now I will keep looking and just have to get creative.

Well we have decided on a change of scenery. We are now living in beautiful BC and loving it I must say. We are still early in the move and not even close to settled. We are hoping to get in a lot more paddling, hiking and camping.
I am also working on getting set up and building my Thai Yoga Massage business here. I have found a location, just working marketing to build a client base. This will take a while, but I am okay with that as the majority of my day is spent with my daughter.
Hoping to getting back into to regular blogging and reading and commenting on the many happening of our world.
I have not posted in half a year. Long time I know, but it has been a busy, crazy and beautiful couple of months. We had a healthy, beautiful little girl named Kayala who is now two and a half months old. How time flies. Motherhood is a profound and humbling experience. I hope to do much more writing in the coming months.
It is a good thing this baby pic is labeled, or it can be a bit confusing to look at, but then ultrasounds usually are to the uneducated. Still there it is. Proof of the incredible, tiny life growing inside. This small wonder is 18 weeks and 3 days in the pic.
Yes I haven’t had a chance to write in a while. But there is a good reason. Our family will be increasing here in another six and some months! Which has, in the mean time, left me feeling entirely ill and fatigued. It has been rougher than I had imagined but I am hoping that it will ease up as I head in to the next trimester and I can once again work on my Thai Yoga Massage certification. I haven’t even been able to attend yoga, so I am feeling a little out of shape. Trying to walk and swim instead for the moment.
Well here is hoping, anyway. And hopefully I will be writing more regularly in November again!
